Every Turkey Trot crew has a personality.
There’s The Runner – already talking about their pace. 👟
The Walker – “I’m participating, but nobody said I had to run!” 😂
The Kid – ready to go approximately 30 seconds after the starting line opens.
The Friend Who Said, “Sure, I’ll do it with you.”
…and then somehow turns it into a competition.
The Family Member Who Came for the Fun.
The One Taking All the Pictures. 📸
And, of course, the person who swears they aren’t doing it next year… but somehow keeps coming back. 😉
That’s the magic of the FishHawk Turkey Trot.
It’s not just about one person crossing a finish line. It’s about your people – family, friends, neighbors and the community you call home – coming together on Thanksgiving morning to start the day with something fun, active and meaningful.
And here’s where we’d LOVE your help:
📸 SHOW US YOUR TURKEY TROT MEMORIES!
Dig through your camera roll. Find that old Turkey Trot photo you’ve had forever. Maybe you’ve got one from five years ago… ten years ago… or even last year!
Post your favorite Turkey Trot photo in the comments and tell us who was in your crew. Have two or three favorites? We want to see those, too!
Let’s fill the comments with the people, smiles, costumes, finish-line moments and memories that make this event so special. 🦃💚
And if this year will be your first Turkey Trot, that’s pretty exciting, too. You get to start your own tradition!
