It’s official: this year’s Seeds of Hope Turkey Trot is going to be different — in a great way! We’re capping registrations at 3,000 participants so that every runner, walker, and family member is guaranteed a t-shirt and medal. That means there’s no “oops, we ran out”— just a community full of gratitude, fun, and impact. So, don’t be the turkey who forgot to register (or better yet, be the turkey who made sure not to forget). 😉
Join Us in September: Volunteer Thursdays at the Seeds of Hope Pantry
At Seeds of Hope, we are continually inspired by the way our community shows up to care, give, and lead. September is no exception! Thanks to the amazing efforts of Kristie Phelps, our September Thursdays in the Pantry sign-up is now live—and we’re already seeing so many high school students filling up the evening shifts.
Giving Thanks for a Helping Hand 🙏 🍀
Giving Thanks for a Helping Hand 🙏 🍀 – Spring break is a time for rest, fun, and family. But for many in our community, it’s also a time of need—when food insecurity doesn’t take a vacation. That’s why organizations like Seeds of Hope are so vital. They provide food to those who need it most, offering families the chance to “give thanks” for a helping hand during difficult times.
Join the Seeds of Hope Family: Make a Difference Through Volunteering!
At Seeds of Hope, we live by our mission: “To provide help to local people in need and meaningful community service hours for students.” Every week, our dedicated volunteers come together to distribute food to those in need, making a direct impact on our community. While we are fortunate to have many students helping from 4 PM to 7 PM each Thursday, we are in great need of volunteers for our earlier shifts: 12 PM – 3 PM and 3 PM – 6 PM….
Helping Hands, Big and Small: How You Can Make a Difference
At Seeds of Hope, Inc., we believe that generosity comes in all shapes and sizes. Every week, we provide over 300 boxes of food to local families who could use a helping hand. And the truth is, we couldn’t do it without a little help from our friends! The beauty of giving is that it’s not just about providing for those in need—it’s about coming together as a community to lift each other up. 👐 👐🏼 👐🏾
The Heart of Seeds of Hope: Supporting Families, Children, and Our Community
At Seeds of Hope, our journey began with a simple yet profound mission: to ensure that local families and children have access to the food they need. Over the years, this mission has grown to include an equally important goal—to provide opportunities for local high school students to earn valuable volunteer and service hours while learning the transformative power of helping others.
Spread Love this Valentine’s Day with Seeds of Hope
This Valentine’s Day, a remarkable group of middle school girls is on a mission to spread love and kindness in our community. These inspiring young ladies have set their hearts on creating 500 Valentine’s treat bags for our weekly neighbors who rely on Seeds of Hope’s food distributions and the school backpack program. Their goal? To bring smiles and warmth to those who need it most.
Make a Difference: Volunteer with Seeds of Hope!
If you don’t have extra money to give at this time but still want to feel great about helping others, volunteering with Seeds of Hope is a wonderful way to make a meaningful impact! Our volunteer opportunities started as a way to help high school students earn volunteer hours for their Bright Futures scholarships, but now we welcome anyone who wants to lend a hand. Whether you’re a student, a professional, a retiree, or just someone with a heart to help, we’d love to have you join us!
A New Year of Hope and Giving
As we welcome a brand-new year, all of us at Seeds of Hope want to wish you and your loved ones a safe, joyful, and prosperous 2025! The New Year is a time for fresh beginnings and reflection, and it’s the perfect moment to embrace the power of giving. Acts of generosity not only support those in need but also bring an incredible sense of fulfillment and connection. At Seeds of Hope, we’ve witnessed firsthand how a little kindness can spark big changes in our community.
