Since 2009, Seeds of Hope has been serving our community with one simple mission:
To provide food assistance to people in need and meaningful community service for our students.
What began as a small idea has grown into something truly special here in Lithia and the FishHawk area.
Each week, families are able to access food through our weekly community distributions. During the school year and summer, our Backpack of Hope Program helps children have food when school meals are unavailable. Before major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter, we provide special distributions to help families celebrate with dignity and joy.
But Seeds of Hope is about more than food.
It is also about raising the next generation of compassionate leaders.
Local students volunteer their time, organize drives, sort donations, serve families, and earn meaningful service hours that can help them qualify for scholarships such as Florida Bright Futures.
Every box packed.
Every shelf stocked.
Every hour served.
Every donation given.
It all plants seeds of hope for a brighter future.
We are so grateful for every volunteer, donor, runner, sponsor, and supporter who helps make this mission possible.
Together, we are feeding families today and building stronger leaders for tomorrow.
Want to help? Donations, volunteers, and community support are always welcome.
