A huge THANK YOU to the amazing students, families, and staff at Stowers Elementary School for donating 300 boxes of cereal to help stock the shelves at Seeds of Hope! That incredible donation will help support families who rely on our weekly food distributions – and it reminded us how powerful community giving can be when people come together for a simple goal…
Since 2009, Seeds of Hope has been serving our community with one simple mission: To provide food assistance to people in need and meaningful community service for our students. What began as a small idea has grown into something truly special here in Lithia and the FishHawk area…
What if helping a local family in need was as simple as your next grocery run? At Seeds of Hope, we’re incredibly grateful to have donated food collection locations right here in our community – making it easier than ever to give back in small, meaningful ways.
Because of you – our volunteers, sponsors, chefs, students, and supporters – we were able to raise meaningful funds to continue serving families right here in our community. It was more than an event… it was a reminder of what’s possible when people come together with compassion and intention. But here’s the truth… The need doesn’t end when the event does. And neither do we…
Spring break is often filled with plans – family time, rest, travel, or simply enjoying a slower pace of life. This year, Hillsborough County schools will be on spring break from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20, 2026. But for some of our local families, spring break brings an added layer of stress.
Florida doesn’t usually see temps/wind-chills in the 20s – but this week reminded us that winter can hit hard, even here. With wind chills feeling even colder, many of us are pulling on sweaters, turning up the heat, and enjoying warm meals at home. But not everyone in our community has that comfort.
As we step into a brand new year, we want to take a moment to say thank you to our incredible neighbors, friends, and supporters. Because of you, 2025 was a truly meaningful year at Seeds of Hope. Together, we were able to help so many individuals and families in our community by providing food, kindness, and hope when it was needed most. Every donated item, every volunteer hour, and every shared smile made a real difference.
Seeds of Hope is excited to announce our Holiday Family Fun Donation Raffle, launching TODAY – December 15, 2025! This special raffle helps us raise funds for our Holiday Ham & Sides Give-A-Way, ensuring local families can enjoy a warm, meaningful holiday meal. And the best part? Your donation could turn into an unforgettable family experience!
Who’s looking for a meaningful way to make someone’s Christmas a little brighter this year? Seeds of Hope is once again obtaining and donating 400 holiday hams for families in our community – and we need your help to complete the full holiday meal.
At Seeds of Hope, we believe that honoring our heroes also means caring for our community. On this day of remembrance, we encourage everyone to show a little extra love, gratitude, and compassion — whether that means volunteering your time, lending a helping hand, or making a small donation to support local families in need…
