April was an amazing month for Seeds of Hope! We were overwhelmed with love, generosity, and the power of community.
💛 Soup for the Soul returned in full swing—bringing our neighbors together to enjoy delicious soup, heartfelt conversation, and raise essential funds for our Backpacks of Hope program. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed!
🍽️ Our weekly Food Distributions remained strong, offering vital groceries to our local friends in need. We even had a special guest this month—the Easter Bunny, who brought joy and smiles to families during our holiday distribution!
🎁 We are especially grateful for ongoing local support like that of the SERTOMA Club (SERvice TO MAnkind). These generous women check in regularly to find out our most urgent pantry needs and always arrive with bags of helpful donations!
🎉 April also brought us the Eaton Realty Block Party—a fantastic community event where we were honored as the charity of choice. Eaton Realty hosted a successful non-perishable food drive, and we extend a BIG thank you to Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard for their additional monetary donations!
🌞 As we look ahead to May and the summer season, we’ll be working with many of our amazing teen volunteers —but we still need your help. Please continue to support us through donations, volunteering, and spreading the word.
