What an amazing summer it’s been here at Seeds of Hope! 🌞 We are overflowing with gratitude for our incredible volunteers and our generous community. From weekly food distributions to special events, you’ve shown up, given your time, and made a difference — and we can’t thank you enough.
We hope you had the chance to swing by the Back to School Bash a few days ago! What a joy it was to see so many familiar faces, excited kids, and neighbors coming together. Events like these remind us just how special our community truly is. 💛
Now that school is back in session, we want to give a huge shoutout to our local high school volunteers. You’ve been amazing at stepping up for our Thursday afternoon food pantry shifts — your energy and dedication inspire us every week. 🙌
But… we could really use some extra help.
Thursday earlier shifts: We’d love more high school students (who are available) or local adults to join us for these times.
Monday & Wednesday deliveries (10:30 AM – 12:30 PM): We’ve had almost no sign-ups lately. We understand most high schoolers are in class, but if you’re taking community college courses, have online classes, or a flexible schedule — we’d love for you to jump in!
Volunteering with Seeds of Hope is so rewarding. You’re not just sorting food or making deliveries — you’re helping ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. And you can do it right here in your own neighborhood!
We’re also happy to help high schoolers earn Bright Futures hours!! Plus, volunteering is an amazing way for local adults to connect, give back, and make a difference in just a few hours a week or month.
